Keys to success
Children aging out of the foster care system face a host of barriers to sustainable adulthood success. Keys to Success is designed to assist youth with overcoming these barriers, plan for their future, and achieve their goals.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
In Yavapai County, Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation fully funds and supports the Keys to Success Program of Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation. The program is designed to help youth who are aging out, or have aged out foster care under the jurisdiction of the Yavapai County Juvenile Court – Prescott and who reside in Western Yavapai County.Through Keys to Success, youth receive the career planning, education and employment development services they need to achieve personal and financial stability. Additionally, the program connects participating youth to resources while offering unparalleled support as they make the transition from foster care to adulthood.
To be eligible for Keys to Success, youth must meet the following requirements:
- Currently in or have been in Arizona foster care under the jurisdiction of the Yavapai County Juvenile Court-Prescott.
- Reside in Western Yavapai County
- Be ages 16-21
- Does not have a diagnosed disability that would qualify them for other supportive employment services.
